If you’re considering checking us out,
well…
then…
Welcome to Adullam!
Now here are the Top 7 things you need to know before visiting.
We're not “attractional”: Meaning, we don't put on a great show. Our sermons are iffy. Our music isn’t professional. Our children’s programs are pretty laid-back.
We’re not a spiritual vending machine: That is, we're not trying to please people or keep people comfy. We're pretty sure Jesus would rather change us, than pander to us.
We're incarnational:Meaning, it ain’t about us, it’s about the world. And to help the world, you have to be in the world.
We don’t do “small groups”: We focus on building community through living out Christ together in what we call “Villages”. We’ll explain why and what a “village” is on the Village/Soulace page.
We're not big on “feeding you spiritually” with more mental input: We’re more interested in helping you give away what you already know. Your spiritual formation is more than just head knowledge.
We don’t always meet on Sunday: Sometimes we use Sunday morning to focus on other Adullam activities.
We’ve got some controversial ideas and habits of life: Where do we begin? (Or how can we lovingly discourage you to come again, before we tick you off and you get disillusioned and angry and leave anyway?
Are you still with us??? In that case, maybe… just MAYBE… you may be a fit with us.
