Adullam Sending Network
Adullam Communities is functionally and philosophically a network of churches that connect through a central administrative hub. While most churches are formed with the intention of becoming a single church that may, or may not, start other churches, Adullam was formed with the flexibility to adapt its structure to fit the leadership context in years to come. So as Adullam grows, it will also strategically send and empower leaders at various levels. For leaders that desire to start an autonomous church expression, Adullam helps in various ways, from providing onsite training and apprenticeships, to sending, resourcing, and administrating at whatever level desired. For leaders that have varying degrees of gifting and calling, Adullam can help by creating a host church/community for the ministry that emerges around bi-vocational leaders that lack the time to pastor and lead autonomous church expressions.
Adullam also participates with Missio’s Missional Church Apprenticeship Practicum (MCAP) as its primary means of leadership development and training for leaders that feel a call to full or part-time ministry. This is especially strategic in the development of young, emerging leaders that are in the process of discerning their primary ministry call, or who just want to be equipped to engage culture and form community while pursuing careers in various fields. Church planters are also trained through the MCAP’s Zer0 church planting track that provides planters a nine-month apprenticeship process that incorporates all the necessary coaching along with connecting the planter to a network of leaders from around the world.
